Mário Alberto Nobre Lopes Soares war ein portugiesischer Politiker der Dritten Republik. Er gründete am 19. April 1973 in Bad Münstereifel die Sozialistische Partei Portugals. 1974 wurde er erstmals, 1977 zum zweiten Mal Außenminister Portugals.
